‘Is it safe to exercise if I’m pregnant?’ ‘How much is too much exercise?’ We are here to answer your questions! There is evidence to prove that women that stay fit, active and moving during their pregnancy have fewer complications in the later stages of pregnancy. It also helps following birth to get back into shape too. 30 minutes of exercise 4 times a week is a sufficient amount to meet your needs.

#FierceFit wants to honor the women of Manchester. @TheJohnRylands Library on Deansgate was not built by Mr. Rylands but, when her husband died, Enriqueta Rylands built the famous neo-gothic library in his memory, inspired by Mansfield College. For this, she became the first woman to be honored with the Key to the City in 1899. It was an incredible task for a woman to take on during this time, and it is safe to say that she bossed it. Even today, John Rylands Library is one of the jewels in Manchester’s crown.
